Anger and Compassion

“As human beings we need to assess whether anger has any value – it destroys our peace of mind. Compassion, on the other hand, brings optimism and hope.”

  1. I was recently given some unexpected news, the person making the announcement was sure I’d be angry, he repeatedly asked me not to be angry. I looked straight at him and said I’m not at all angry, life happens. He didn’t know what to say, he just walked away. Anger really doesn’t feel good, there are so many better ways to feel.
